Recruitment

Hello all,

We have decided today, that In efforts to keep the server and its community growing, that we are opening up recruitment for multiple positions.

We are looking for individuals who are self motivated and interested in helping the community. We will be having weekly meetings 20-30 minutes to keep everyone on track and up to date on the operations of the server and our goals. We currently have people working in both Europe and North America, the time differences makes things slightly difficult but the weekly meetings will keep us all on the same page.

The following is a list of openings we currently have :

Web Developer : This job consists of helping out on the on the web side of things, I do not want to go further into detail as we have some suprises planned but there are projects and we currently require some more help. JavaScript + PHP is required along with knowledge of SQL.

Core Developer : We are looking for some people to help out on the Core Development. There are currently many small issues with the core with already documented fixes online, we are looking for people who are already comfortable in the Wow Server Emulation scene. You are expected to have done some work in the past (Projects History) , and be able to set up a local test server (We have people to help in this process). The Core is written in C++, we expect you to have a strong understanding and experience of software development.

SQL Developer : We are looking for some more people who are experienced in SQL. There is always database work to be done, experience with wow servers is not needed but it is an advantageous. Knowledge of SQL is required, and the ability to read documentation both the Hellground Wiki and Trinity Core wiki are great resources.

Media creator: We're searching for someone with awesome video editing skills to produce videos for us for upcoming updates and releases. Your first task would be to create a hype video for our upcoming T5 release. If you're interested, send a message to Saltgurka and include examples of your previous creations.

Game Master : We are looking for some more Game Masters to help us with tickets, It would be nice to have some that could help during 6PM-2AM Server time, this is our general downtime atm.

Bug Tracker Manager : We are looking for someone to help tidy up and manage the bug tracker. We are looking for someone who's primary responsibility would be  to manage and sort the bug tracker, this includes : Closing duplicate tickets and helping figure out what the highest priority issues are. This is highly required as It would greatly improve the speed of which we fix bugs.

North American Mods : We currently are lacking support during the North American playtime hours, as most of our staff are European and need to sleep :p We are looking for support staff to help assist players during these dark hours.
